My First Post

My name is Ashley Panagakis and I am from Shawnee, Kansas. I am passionate about animals, biology, and I also really love TikTok. I have three dogs: two Shih Tzu's and one Lhasa Apso. I like to take them to the dog park as much as possible. I am majoring in biology and plan on attending either PA or med school after graduating. One thing that fascinates me about evolution is how it works and what has made us human. I also think the diversity of organisms that exist is very interesting. A few ways evolution relates to daily life is through medicine and how that has changed, as well as how our bodies react differently to things like viruses, bacteria, and medicine. I am excited to learn more about evolution and be able discuss it with others. Here are some pictures of my dogs :)

  1. Super cute dogs! I've never met anyone that has a Lhasa Apso but I always love seeing photos and videos of them. This is a weird question but I was wondering what the origins of your last name were? I'm Greek and your last name sounds super Greek to me!

I love your dogs, they are adorable. I completely agree with the correlation between our bodies and how its response to different medicines and bacteria. I like the application and its connections to what you hope to do within the medical field.
